UMC is a nurturing community of Christian
Disciples, led, called and urged by God to
proclaim God's love, celebrate
Christian fellowship, and witness
to the
Good News of Jesus Christ through mission and
ministry.
Welcome Packets are available for
Newcomers. Check with Ushers and Greeters.
The Witness Committee wants to remind the
congregation that transportation is available to
those who need it. Please feel free to call the
church office or Art Hahn (599-4090) no later
then Friday prior to the Sunday you need the
ride.
Weekly Reminder
– Visiting hospitals changed several years
ago due to the Health Insurance Portability and
Accountability Act of 1996, known more commonly
as HIPAA. Pastoral visitation is more
challenging since hospitals no longer provide
listings of patients to clergy making calls.
Therefore, please contact the church 292-3359 or
the pastors (home 598-7641) and let us know the
name of the person and the hospital to which
they have been admitted. Thank you for your
assistance in making pastoral care more
possible!
BLUEPRINTS
OF THE REDESIGN of Spruce Street UMC have
been presented to the church and were introduced
to the congregation on Sunday, 28 August 2005.
